Default what Resampling method to use

Hi, I have for years just used the standard settings in edius when burning dvds
from a HD project and so on, but after moving to a mix of 4k and HD I am not sure if I getting the best out of edius.

Can someone tell me what resampling method is best for a HD project to DVD, Bluray and for downscaling 4k to HD.

thanks
Sebastian

Lanczos3 Sharper is recomended for downscaling in most cases.

I don't think so.
It looks a lot better to me when downsizing & applying a decent sharpener to have more noticeable edge accentuation.
Resizing very detailed HD structures to SD mostly ends in a slushy picture.
But I agree for interlaced footage.
