Default Edius 7.53 no analog or AES audio input from BM Decklink Studio2

Window 10 1803
Edius 7.53
Videocard Blackmagic Decklink Studio 2
Blackmagic Media Express V.10.11.4
Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup V.10.11.4

Hi all,
I have a problem with one of my four Edius NLE's which has a Blackmagic Decklink Studio 2 videocard.
When I try to configure a input preset in Edius i have no choice to select anlalog or AES audio input, I only get audio when SDI embedded. (Other options are greyed out). Se attached .png

In the Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup I have set the input option to AES but no input, the same when set to anlaog audio. Se attached .png

Is this a bug in this latest Version of Edius 7?

Thanks
Sebastian

So what happens when you click on the XLR icon in the BM setup dialog?
They are grayed out because they are not active: that does not mean not available.

Default no AES and anlog-in in Edius 7.53

Hi Rob,

configuring the BM Desktop Video setup to analog audio-in, I get a signal to the BM Card and I can record and Play it with the BM Media Express Tool. So the videocard takes analog audio-in and plays it to the output of the card. But I can not say to Edius to take the analog audio-in, the option is grayed out! So it is a Edius problem.

Ok, I do not have the same card or the same version of EDIUS as you do.

On my system (ver. 8.53) I have DeckLink 4K Extreme with video input set to analog and the audio input set to XLR.

In EDIUS the settings are:
  • Interface: DeckLink 4K Extreme
  • Video format: (must match the incoming video)
  • Audio Input: is grayed out

When I attach video signal and select that input preset to record or preview, I see the video and hear the audio.
