Default Help with Template Error

Hello,

I am trying to make a simple starting point template in Edius 8. I started with a project preset, made some folders and a 2nd timeline and added just a few clips.

I then tried to "Save as Template" and received this error.

So I saved the project under a new name into a different location. I then tried to Template creation and the same error shows up.

If the "Project Templates" folder is in the Edius folder by default then this error will always come up. Any idea what is happening?

Thanks.

I just tried one and it worked fine.

I have a folder in my Project folder entitled, Project Templates.
Exporting the template has always worked with this setup.

Hey Jerry,

I have the project template folder in the default location as well. I just made a different template from a project and it worked. When I start from scratch is when it gets the error.
