Default Multi cam in Edius 6.5

"Multi Cam switches both audio and video, so you arenít limited to only a single audio track." Is there a way to do the multicam, but use only one audio track. i.e. Switch to camera 2 while keeping the audio from camera 1.

Ezra :-)

Copy the audio you want to use to an audio track then mute all the audio from the VA tracks during multicam.

If he is using VA tracks I gave him the solution. I for one like using VA tracks but never use the audio from them as my audio is always done outside of EDIUS anyway. So audio that is in the project output is always on an A tracks and all VA track audio is muted. Relationship of mixed audio to the VA audio can be checked at any time.

One of the things that annoys me about Resolve is that video and audio are separated. Vegas I like because it is also VA presentation. To each is own approach. My logical approach is all source video input is VA, graphics and titles V tracks and all audio for output is on A tracks. For me I would get rid of T track as I have no use for it.
