Very nice Rick. Love seeing what can be done with the GH series.

Thanks all of you for the comments. It's always good to get encouragement.

First, yes sorry, it was shot 3840x2160 50p, and then output from EDIUS as 1920x1080 25p. I have corrected that on the original post.

Second, yes, the actors audio has echo due to so many hard surfaces. Looking back I wish I had taken a sound recordist with me. But it was very cramped in there - not much room to move. The wide angle shots make it look a lot bigger than it was in reality. The lack of space is one reason I went with the GH5 for this shoot.

Anyhow, glad you mostly like the end result. Even with my British accent on the VO.

BTW, the girls were short, so I had them standing on boxes so they could be seen over the top of the bar.

Nice work, Chris. Great tribute to these dogs that many folks are innocent about. Your "slo-mo" shots (in EDIUS) worked beautifully. Touching story.
Best always,
Alan

Not much of a winter here in N.GA for the past two years. But here are some clips I assembled. For best quality view in 2k/4k.

Thanks, Mark...outstanding as usual. I spend a lot of time doing video near streams, ponds and reservoirs here in the Catskills and always appreciate your sweet sensibility towards the landscape.

My latest (in post production) is about the Esopus Creek watershed. Lots of contemporary and vintage materials to wrangle.

We hope to have a final product by October. Just about all the editing is being done in EDIUS and I'll post a trailer when it's available.
