Default NBFx - Image Mapper issue

Image Mapper from the VEIII package has an odd behavior on my system.
It works as expected when playing the time line.
However, when configuring the effect (e.g., pinning the corners, etc.) the back ground is black, not transparent - I cannot see the underlying clip to to guide setting the corners, curves, etc.

Anyone else run into this issue? I have raised the issue with NBFx.

I'm using Edius Pro 7.4, Win 7/64bit, Nvidia GTX 770

Image Mapper is from Video Essentials III, most current per the NBFx website.
(But not the new, repackaged NBFx Elements 3 version that was just release.)

I see in past posts that some VE3 modules were problematic earlier in 2014.

I am on travel for a few days, but attached is what I had available from a previous e-mails to NBFx. The underlying video is on VA1 and the insert is on VA2.

The VA1 is a SD 4:3 MPG clip, the VA2 is an AVCHD 1080i clip. The timeline is 1920x1080 59.94i

I am unable to see the timeline and its clips at playhead position

also, untick keyframes in Image Mapper, it will get you in trouble

all looks normal so it should work

can you try with a color matte on V1 and color bars on V2 to eliminate possible clip issues

also, right click desktop, Nvidia Control panel, then click the Home button to see the current driver and card model
