Default 4k preview on 1080p timeline

Hey guys, we have an Ultrawide monitor (38" LG at 3840x1600) as the main monitor for the timeline and a 4k monitor (LG 27" 4K 3840x2160) both connected via DisplayPort.

When you playback EDIUS previews on the 4K monitor, sometimes the preview sizes down to a 1080p sized image and sometimes it goes full screen.

Is this a bug or a feature? How can we force the preview monitor to always stay full screen?

Ok I seem to have fixed it by changing from the recommended 150% scaling to 100% for the 4k monitor.

Please ignore the post :)

I'm very rusty.

You need the same setting on both screens, not just set it to 100%. EDIUS can also crash with different scaling settings on two screens. Windows guesses what the scaling should be for a particular screen and sometimes sets different scaling of two screens of the same resolutions.
