One other thing - if I right click on the black thumbnail and select "Show in Player" the Vistitle file plays just fine in the Player window.

One other thing, I can right click on the black thumbnail and run the Vistitle in "Show in Player" it works just fine.

All of the titles created in Quick Title appear as thumbnails in the bin.

Could it be that because these titles are all animations that start in black - what I'm seeing it the first frame - which is a black frame?

That would be it. Lead with that next time:) To verify that, make a new static title and look at the thumbnail.

I'm sure someone else picked up a few ideas from this thread. It's never a waste of time.

You got me there. How do I change the poster frame for an animated Vistitle title starting with a fade up from black? Where is that setting?

click the middle mouse button on thumbnail and then drag mouse right

but you maybe right, it may not work with Vistitle, I can't test right now because I got to capture non-stop for the next 3 days (56 hours of DVCAM)
