Hi timothychew,

I have been reading through a few let's edit post's and can't figure this one out ?

I understand that once you are used to something, it's hard to change, but why stick with an old NLE and move to latest Windows 7 ?

It's like changing the paint on an old car and expect it to work again as new and last forever .............

I also, in a way, miss Win 3.11 and Word Perfect, but as time evolve you need to adopt.
I'm sure there are very valid reasons why Let's edit, Storm edit etc are discontinued, software programming advances, video codec's advances, and they might not be compatible anymore with the core base of the initial software.
The likely reason for this discontinue is a complete re-write / make over called Neo & Edius, compatible with the latest OS, multiprocessor systems & video codec's.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Let's Edit and even Storm edit still work perfectly on a XP system, at least on my old system, they do however exclusively SD of course :)

Default Very simple

very simple because the Laptop do not support XP

_---

But now when I use .. XP to install and use XP driver I found
It is OK now

I think it is Nvidia and Win 7

At least Word Perfect is still available as a supported product.

A possible issue with Win 7 is the IEEE 1394 driver, you may need to install the legacy driver and not the new Win 7 driver.
