The only Grass Valley item in my startup list is the GV license manager and that is and was checked/enabled.

The optical flow was not selected and is not the default.

Here is the tree view of the file

30fps is an unusual and not TV friendly frame rate

how big is the file? can you upload somewhere so I can test how it plays or send via antonsvideo.wetransfer.com

as far as EDIUS goes, uninstall it and do not deactivate, then uninstall Mync and do not deactivate

then empty appdata/local/Temp

disable any third party antivirus etc.

install latest EDIUS, no serial number needed

then check the startup tab in tsakmanager

I can confirm that your file plays terrible even in 9.51

after scrubbing like crazy and then hitting spacebar to play, EDIUS stops responding

I recommend to export this clip to HQ or HQX prior to editing it

I can report it if you wish

Thank you Anton for taking the time. It is not necessary to report it as this is a one time thing and not likely to be repeated.

Thanks again for all the help from everyone.
