Default Upgrade to Edius 5 Procedure

I've tried researching on the forum but not answered all my questions so I'd be grateful if someone could spend some time in answering some of my questions.

I'm upgrading from 4.61, I have the NX card on XP machine.

1. Do I have to uninstall anything first before I put in the E5 upgrade disc or will that do the necessary for me.

2. When it asks for E4 serial number do I use my existing one or use the one supplied on the upgrade disc.

3. At want point do I insert the E5 dongle.

4. Should I remove the E4 dongle at any time.

Thanks in advance

Phil

Thanks Barry for prompt reply, I did see that one and thought not to go down that route as i have no plug-ins to transfer over.

The instructions I got never mentioned anything about uninstalling 4.

Anyone had success without uninstalling or am I asking for problems.

If you don't manually uninstall it, Edius 5 will do it for you. Then you run E5 again and it will install
