Default SD H264 output removed

The Beta version 1.10 seems to have removed the ability to encode to H264 SD resolutions. It's only available when choosing HD output (mpeg SD still available). This is possible in the release version.
I'm glad to see though that input formats are greater in the Beta version such as .m2p
One of the highly underated features of FireCoder Blu is/will be to encode DVD quality Standard Definition video to Standard Definition H264 for moving over to Blu-ray. It may not be high on peoples mind at present but in the future it will be as we start putting everything on BD.

So hopefully this was an oversight?

I'd like to see some official statements about this software, where it's going, who's beta testing? Are the limitations and bugs being reported?

That's what I say the Beta 1.10 lost a lot of useful functions which are available in 1.01.
I will not accept that those functions will not be longer avaible in future FC Writer Relesases.SW Development should be a progress not a step backwards.

All I have is the news that the final (non-Beta) release of 1.10 will be available early August. I have no experience with the software/hardware, so I can't confirm if certain features have been restored.

Thanks kenneally, I look forward to that!!

I just hope I am not too dissapointed with what we get, now that it's been out for a rather lengthy time period.

Why don't you ask them to send you 1 of each product you have to cover in this Forum, then at least you will get that huge office space you always wanted :)

As per my sig, I don't have anything to do with actual GV products and product lines. I'm just responsible for them getting coverage on the Internet.
