Default Aspect ratio 16:9 / 4:3

Hi all,

I have captured a video via firewire. It's a SD 16:9 video. In Edius 6.01 everything looks fine and the DVD i created is ok.

Now i want to add some scenes to an on going project in Magix VDL 16. When i use put the material on the timeline in Magix, Magix says the aspect ratio is 4:3. If i continue the image looks 4:3 but compressed (long / small).
If i try to play the captured AVI file in the Windows Media Player, it seems nothing happens.

The properties of the captured video in Edius:

Frame Size : 720 x 576
Frame Rate : 25.00
Aspect Ratio : 1.4222
Field order : Lower Field
Quantization Bit Rate : 8Bit

Should i use other settings for capturing?

Who can help??

Maybe MAGIX is not able to detect the right aspect ratio & the right field dominance!
Please correct it in the MAGIX BIN manually!
