What is your Operating System? I presume that will be Windows 10 Pro?

If you need urgent (emergency) help - I think you are better off contacting Grass Valley Technical Support.

can you attach a system report, EDIUS help menu, generate system report

also, attach the crash dump file from the Temp folder CrashDump.dmp (you need to zip it in order to attach)

I guess you are kidding me :) Canopus Edius Support?!!! Not in this life...
Here is an answer:
"Normally when Edius is crashing is due to a hardware or settings problems, and most of them are known issue. There are people in the forums that could take a look into the system report and let you know what is causing the problem. Also you can check the Edius ID web site and see what other suggestion we have for this issue."

Thank you very much for your help! The problem partially solved. After updating the BIOS, the processor frequency was (by default) 3400 (as it should be). But the test in AIDA64 Extreme showed -3700.Very strange. I manually entered 3400 again (in the BIOS everything was by default in auto mode) and the computer (I mean, the Edius) started to work without crushing or freezing. But now, every action in Edius takes delay, which is very unnerving (time-line scaling, transition, cutting, etc.). I have a very powerful computer, nothing superfluous. GPU acceleration is "off".32 GB of memory.System and cash files on separate ssd drives. I have no idea, whats happening. All other software (including the Adobe AE etc) works perfect.

you have Bitdefender, uninstall it or disable it and try again

also, you have CCleaner, that software breaks more than what it fixes

you also have a problem USB device, do you see any yellow warnings in device manager

Hello Anton,
The freezing problems strarted before I installed the anti-virus software and CCleaner,on a new-fresh installed and clean system.
Anyway, the Edius folders and the footage folders are excluded from scan in Bitdefender.
USB device is disabled.
Today (after I finished the project) the freezing problem came back again...:( I started Edius and my computer was freezed.
Attached the Grass Valley CrashDump files (in archive).
