Default Edius ready for NDI technology

Just to know...... if Edius is concerned ?

Any advice ?

Grass Valley has been on the forefront of the move from SDI to IP for several years now. It is the future of broadcast, at least until the next thing comes along.

Yes it would be great to have NDI support in Edius. Lots of apps now have it and it's a great way to setup a studio.

So, if it is the future.... we will follow.... but what are the advantages ?

Actually I group all files needed in the same folder... and made (update) a miror copy on my NAS every evening when closing the day.

Will it change that way of working ?

With NDI on your network everything is accessible to everything else so you can send your timeline across the network for preview at multiple points of viewing or think of your studio connected and routed without SDI cabling and matrix switches the possibilities are endless two way communication allows for talk back and tally for live situations. To name just a few.
