Default Deck link monitor edius 8

Hi I would like to know if to connect an external moniotr in order to see the preview at full screen or the deck link card is a better system than what you normally use, by connecting with HDMI.
So I wonder what are the advantages of using a deck link?
thank you

you connect the TV to the decklink card and it will give you correct color space and stutter free and tearing free full screen vision, unlike EDIUS preview

and then this decklink works on all types of monitors with HDMI input?
You have a link to Amazon, thanks.

are you planning on displaying 4k, if so, but the Mini Monitor 4k
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/pro...specs/W-DLK-32

if you only use HD, buy the Mini Monitor

The downside of both Mini Monitors is that the sound and picture go out through the HDMI so you have to listed to the sound through the TV or put the HDMI through an amplifier first.
The Intensity Pro 4K has analogue sound out so you can put the sound to decent speakers whilst watching the picture through HDMI.

Other differences:
  • The Intensity Pro 4K has analogue out.
  • The Intensity can capture video although the component in is not quite right.
  • The Mini Monitor 4K can do HDR out.

It's harder to find a tv that is true 25Hz for 25p than it is to find 50Hz for 50p 50i
