Default De-activation of license

I have one Edius Pro 8 license that I first used on my old PC.

When I upgraded from my old PC to my new PC I simply installed Edius 8 again and it all worked. (I didn't de-activate the license on the old PC).

Now when I check the "Manage licenses" I see two activations but the old one is no longer in use. So how can I release (manually return) that one?

in that case, your only option is to contact your reseller and ask for a request to have one license count reduced

however, before you do that, try installing and activation, 90% of times it works for a third activation. I have several with 3 activations

OK Thanks.

But is there not a way to simply remove it yourself in this "Manage Licenses" area where you can log in with your serial?

yes, but you need to first start the old PC and generate an XML for manual return :)
