Then it very much sounds like the intel driver
Have you also in bios set your graphic card as the main to boot up. Alternativle set the cpu as main but not all software like that

If You are booting from the SSD don't forget the nMVe drivers from the SSD menufactor, that gave for me a big difference !
I've also changed the Mobo and CPU and QS works for me !
Later today I will check what Intel drivers I'm using.

Thanks for these tips. I will check the ssd drivers. I build the system myself. It started up the first time. Not bad for an amateur. Ofcourse there were a few challences along the way like choosing the right components, activating windows and Edius again.

How do I connect my two displays to get QS working while keeping the extended desktop?
How, where do I set a primairy and secundairy gpu?

Chris

Chris
My settings in the Bios
Main graphic adapter = ONBOARD ( Intel)
IGPU = Enabled ,this can be on another brand Mobo called differently.
Win 10 = Extended.
Edius 8.53 = color c. Intel
GPUFX = Intel
Connecting the monitors On my mobo is one on the HDMI and the other on DVI,my monitors don't have a DP connector.
In Windows picture settings You choose the nr 1 & nr 2 monitor depending on Your'e own choice.
The Intel driver is the latest for my Mobe. and Quick sync is working.

Thanks Edd, I will try this later today.

Anyone else who has something to add? earlier in this thread there were others (some with a similar mb) who also had managed te make QS work.

Have a nice day.

Chris

I have used these drivers on my systems:

V 6373: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...?product=88345

And they have got Quick Sync working on at least 3 different types of motherboard. I have tried some of the new DCH drivers and none of them have given me Quick Sync with EDIUS.

In addition to the previous changes I installed Intel graphics driver 6373 (many thanks to David Clark to pointing me to this one) and it works.

I have Edius still using my NVidia card for color correction.
Both displays are connected via Displayport with the NVidia card. Monitor one is also connected via HDMI to the Motherboard (which makes windows see three displays, but I have still the normal extended desktop)
In the BIOS I enabled the IGPU (standard on 'auto', which is not correct)

BTW For some reason installing the Intel Graphics driver makes me loose the Internet connection and I have to install this driver also (again). After that all is fine.
