Default Edius freezing comp...

Anybody else run into this problem of Edius freezing the comp for a few seconds every few seconds?

I'm on a C2D 3,2ghz with a new geforce high end graphic card running a dual monitor setup - 3 gigs of ram and 4gigs of readyboost.

Need any other details? just ask.

(Edius 6.01 Trial)

Check what the auto save is set to under Settings> User Settings> Project File. Then change the auto save interval to a higher time frame.

Regards

Ok, did that ( was 3 now 7mins) but have not tested it as yet - will write back later to follow up.

While waiting for someone to reply to this thread I disconnected one of the monitors (I was using 2 monitors when I had that problem) then started Edius, and have not had that problem since. Running now for around 2 hours without a prob. I don't think its the graphic card though because like I mentioned earlier I just upgraded the card - but I had the same problem with the old card as well.

Thanks!
R

I'm on 32 bit, ultimate...

Were you running on a single monitor or dual setup?

I more than doubled the time to 7 mins as I wrote before... no luck, on dual monitors it totally froze my comp. Had to hit the reset button :(
