Are you talking about something like the Halloween Demo on that page?

Post a short video or a link to a video of what you want.

I don't have a link because I cannot do it.

If I have 3 lines, the line option makes each one come out at once.
This is
a test of
3 lines.

If I apply the line effect, each line appears.

If I apply the character effect, each character appears.

So in this phrase:

I am here.

Each and every character appears in the effect one at a time.

I a m h e r e. Each letter appears... one at a time... of course it would show I am here, but one letter at a time.

If I had a word effect, which I think is in the plugin, it would show:
I am here - one word at a time... of course would show I am here... I was just illustrating each word one at a time.

The effect would know to do this by separating by spaces.

I didn't comment on the Halloween demo because it only has one word.

Jerry is the VT Guru and I have learnt 99% of VT from him and his tutorials.
If you go into the main Editor and then go into the library (arrows on LH side) and then select text effect there are lots of transitions for bringing letters or words or lines one at a time.
I would add that like Anton for complex titles, I split them into simple sections and assemble on the timeline. Yes you can do multi pages in VT but a simple change can have a knock on effect. I might not be as pretty or as impressive as doing a dozen captions in one VT title but it can be a lot less hassle if the underlying pics need to be changed.
Of course at the end of the cliche it is what works best for you.

Derek, I wanted to verify with Beijing before I gave you a definitive answer.
Evidently, there is a language translation error describing the 'Play by Word' option. There isn't a line item allowing you to select 'Play by Word.' You can select 'Play by Character(in and out),' 'Play by Line(in and out),' and "Play by Text.'

Now, this doesn't mean to say that you can't create a layout to simulate a 'Play by Word' layout.

I've included a 'Play by Word' layout for you to test. As I said before, if you are using a lot of words, it would be easier for you to do individual layouts.
Once you learn how to use Vistitle, this could be created and synced with audio, fairly easily.

Hi! This is translating error regarding this function. By "play word by word", it should be "play character by character".

Hi Jerry, I purchased the tutorials from your website sgdvtutorials.com just a few minutes ago.

Is there a place for me to download the 2gb file and Volume 1 template? I assume I might get an email later today. Can't wait to see the templates.

When does Volume 2 come out?
