The original footage is 30p not 29.97, could this be the issue?

just shoot a new clip with the camera that is 3 seconds long (don't need more) and email it to me anton at videoproductions.com.au or upload to one of the free file hosts

Hi Anton right now I don't own the MKII. I'm planning to make the purchase this month probably right after the firmware comes out maybe? =P I do have a lot of footage recorded with it, sounds confusing well the footage I have right now that I need to edit was filmed with the MKII of the DOP which he's sold. Right now I'm just stuck with the files =/

Hm smallest one that I could find is at least 30something MB... btw additionally I am unable to playback my DOP's MKII files (I think he converted them with his Mac Pro now my PC can't play), the unconverted one works fine though... >_< But both converted and unconverted files exhibit stuttering characteristics during their stay on the Edius timeline

Not sure what to suggest, I have used files straight into Edius right off the Mark II CF card without problems. I've heard of stuttering problems before though, even with other systems, but haven't experienced them myself.

30 MB is plenty small. I think you can even email that, unless you're using gmail. Anyway, you could also upload it to a site for us as Anton suggests. Here is a list of them:

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...load+file+site

Upload it, give a link (privately email it to Anton if you wish), so he can test it and help you.
