Default Firecoder Blu and AVCHD2HQ

Guys - I know Firecoder Blu is no longer supported by EDIUS 6.5, but what about the advantage it used to contribute to the AVCHD2HQ converter? Does it still work with that, and would that be a reason to install my Firecoder in my new system with 6.5?
Thanks,
Alan

As far as i know Al it shouild still work as standalone you only loose its benefit from within Edius
Update
Just Downloaded AVCHD2Q and FCB is greyed out so i will check settings if i dont come back to you its not good news
Update
For some reason my FCB is not being seen i will try and re seat
Update 3
After removing FCB and cleaning and re seating i can report that in E6.51 FCB is greyed out and doesnt function for me
can anyone else check it out
On my 6.07 caddy it works
so i cant at present say whether its something on my 6.5 system which prevents FCB being seen or not but the MHX-C! is not present under Sound Video Game controllers in 6.5

OK Al i can confirm it does work
I tried all ways to get it top show and perseverance won the day
I eventually used the driver setup and chose to uninstall althought it wasnt showing up and then re-installed directly from the setup in driver directory
A complete mystery but you are good to go
It will also save to an Edius project if Edius 6.51 is running
