Bought Olympus GT Tracker. We'll see how EDIUS handles that 4k 30 fps progressive footage, and audio. Thanks again for your info.

You should have no problems with any of the modern GoPro cameras at any resolution or frame rates. Drift is negligible and file splits are instantaneous.

We mix them in all the time.

Hi Rusty.

I don't know if you're using the 5, but there are serious sync issues with it's footage and Edius. There's also serious issues with the 5's raw audio, Edius doesn't understand it properly as well as most other things not understanding it either.

As for frame rates. If you set up a project matching what GP say their frame rates are for NTSC, as in 30 and 60, you will definitely have issues as the footage is 29.97 and 59.94.

Cheers,
Dave.
