I assume you meant the i9 -- that is a $1000 processor at the low end, and $2000 at the high end.

You probably are using the wrong format for the DJ clips.

so i got it yesterday testing it and it good so far with out primary color filter i get real time with 2 layer 4k and sound track. 3 layer should be real time but once i put primary color filter it start stuttering a bit. also rendering surprise is a bit faster comparing to quick sync on my laptop intel .

Actually Ryzen is a very good chip for 4K editing, I deleted my first comment because I was misleading people, not my intention though you just have to understand how Edius really works
Nice pc btw looks pretty solid to me

yes i am impressed i just did a test in rendering a 56 sec of 4k same clip on intel with quick sync and amd no quick sync and amd beat it by 20 second.
although intel is on laptop amd on desktop might not be a fair contest.

Could you give us the times. For me Quicksync renders on my system to Bluray preset in about 40 to 50% of realtime so in your case say 28sec. Are you saying the Ryzen rendered in 8 secs?

Are those 4K 4:2:2 10bit 60p clips or 4:2:0 8bit 30p clips.
I can do 3 layers (2 pip)of 4k 4:2:0 30p on my 4790k all day long.
4K 10bit 60p is completely different, and so is the final product.
Everyone needs to be specific about the file and project settings when describing performance so to not confuse anyone.
