Thanks for letting us know.
Find it odd that I can download the updater from an open site before I can get it from my 'product registry'.
Can't wait to try out some of the new features.

Installed and all working, the PCC is very nice indeed.
Yes, I could not update from inside EDIUS either but that download worked no problems.

No. Not yet. And I think Edius.net is pretty official.

Interesting is that on Edius.net you can just download without jumping hoops.

I'm sure you have to create a Edius ID up on installation, but that's fine.

Looks like small anoyances are improving !

If you mean the Optical Flow slow motion, it will be in a future version.

I have some NewBlueFX plugins which were all purchased within the last 12 months or so for Edius 7. What is the current status on being able to install these and use them in 8? I've read through an older thread on this and would prefer to do a new install and not copy the folder from Edius 7 as Anton mentioned due to the problem with ever trying to update them once installed that way. From what I've read on that thread, when trying to reinstall them from the origional downloaded software files, I downloaded and saved when I first purchased them, there may not be a path to 8? If that's so, what would be the procedure? Is there a way to obtain a new downloader file, or what procedure can be used?
