The Browser is great if you have a large number of archived clips and sound (Foley) resident on your computer
After TAGGING makes it easy to recall from inside EDIUS and either place in the Bin or copy to the project folder for use to replace sound or add a clip
TAGs only seem to allow 2 tags per clip, 4 would be great
It is available inside EDIUS in the "Browser" TAB with ALL the Libraries I have set up, just double click the clip and it will play in the Player Window making selection easy
Best part of 8!
It does take a little playing with to be able to set the Libraries up as I wanted but well worth the time spent
Regards Barry

This is a serious limitation ...
I already use another asset management tool that lets the user to create any custom tag without any count limit when applied to some file.

I have yet to install v8 to assess it.

David covers some good ground in the above mentioned tutorials.
I have 5 on the GV Browser, from a slightly different angle - more coming

I have several clips in GV Browser with 4 tags on it. I didn't test what the limitation is.

OK agree, the problem was me
Depends on the length of the TAGs and although they are entered they do not appear in the BOX, it does not scroll or roll but they are there
Thanks for that

Barry
