Default edius 8 keep crashing

this is the latest version with win 10 i never experience crash before i am capturing old video tape svideo through stormmobile i capture same still more to go this crash and frieze stopping me my project

the crash is caused by the Storm Mobile, possibly because of incorrect S-Video settings (needs to be 720x486 and not 720x480)

Anton is probably right.

I have never used a Storm, but the difference between the two standards is as follows:

720x480 is normally for DV lower field first or DVD

720x486 is normally for analog video (composite, S-Video, or Component) and can be either lower field first or upper field first depending on the signal. It doesn't hurt to do test capture with both field settings if you have that option and have a look to see which one portrays motion without juttering.
