Default Exporting video in a particular format (MP4)

Hello,

When I use the format term it is not the codec wich will be classical MP4 with Anton's parameters... but the resolution's dimensions.

In some Powerpoint presentations I introduce some picture wich are not necessary in a classical 2/3 ratio. Some of it are croped with a photo editor... or cropped in Powerpoint that offers a tool for that "re-dimentioning".

For video, I would like to know if I can export directly from Edius in a "tailored" format such as : 1920*640 ratio 1/3 in MP4 starting from a project in HD and croping with the F7.

I can then introduced it in Powerpoint as it is !

Thanks for help

yes, you can go to project settings and set resolution to custom, then type the desired values

when F7 repositioning and crop and export is done, switch the project setting back to your normal one

And remember: when you set a custom dimension, make sure to set the pixel aspect ratio to "1:1", because if you leave it unchanged, Edius will force a 16:9 picture and ignore the custom dimension.

Thank you to both of you.

Simple in fact when you know the project dimension is the key...
... and the ratio has to be 1:1.

I could have spend a lot of time ...
