Default how do you box your video?

what i mean is so i can cut from
full screen
like the screen is shrinking?

You can use the 3d PiP Effect, and set the scale at certain keyframes along the timeline.

You can use keyframes in Video Layout. Now an item in the clip Information pallet, or use F7.

i found out how to do it in system presets - letterbox,
then it lets you make a square or rectangle of any size, you can smudege the edges, and it lets you make it an eclipse if you want!
