Default Browser versions

Are there different versions of the browser? In the quite excellent tutorials from Mr Gajiin he mentions red rectangles, mine are blue rectangles. Hence there are three different types of indicator in the OFFLINE CLIPS
1/ red dot bottom right in picture
2/ red dot bottom right plus BLUE rectangle bottom right of frame
3/ Single film of frame white on black icon with no dots or rectangles
Restoring the path is quite complex and I find it very hit and miss.

I only get the red dot for an offline clip, not seen the other two squares you mention. I did put some clips offline to test this for you but nothing untoward found.

I'm really confused with these squares that are on some clips and not others in the library.

On registering video files to a simple catalog, for me the clips will always show a green square but if it's a smart catalog they may or may not. In 'All Clips' many don't have a coloured square while the ones that do seem to be ones I registered to a catalog rather than simply to the library.

It would help if I knew for sure what the various squares mean, there is nothing in the help on this.

I am working on a pdf file to show the most common thumbnail "markers" in the GV Browser.
Hopefully it will be ready later today.
I'll post a link to it then.
Regards
Douglas

Here is my first PDF file on the symbols on thumbnails.
I expect to have to make some corrections and also add more information in the future.
But for now here is something to get started with.

Thanks for that. I have searched in vain in the official pdf manual for such details!
