Default Missing system file mfc72enu.dll W7 64 Bit on Edius Install

Got a slightly OT install question. We are putting Edius 6 on a brand new Windows 7 64 bit OS on a laptop. Other laptop and desktop installs on XP and W7 went fine. On this one, however, at the very end of the install, I get an error message from Edius stating it is unable to write to a mfc72enu.dll file in the Windows/System32 subdirectory. A search for that file does not turn up anything in the Windows directory. Anyone else experienced this on install, and/or know what the mfc72enu.dll file is for? A google for it turned up nothing useful.

Correction mfc71enu.dll, and it is a part of .NET Framework, which is installed, and yes I have full admin and UAC rights.

You have no Admin rights probably.

it could be that you have automatic updates enabled and that some updates are waiting to be installed

on an Editing PC it is best to disable auto updates and then just check for updates manually once per week

also, make sure the temp folder is cleared daily and defender is disabled permanently

and when installing anything in Win7, always right click the installer file and choose run as admin

Did some research and found out that dll is associated with .net framework 3.5 which is not installed on that computer. 4 is but not 3.

A call to GV tech support suggested to click ignore and finish the installation. Others have reported this on new systems and apparently it does not affect anything.

So far, the new install appears to be working fine without problems.
