Default Cutting across video and audio tracks

Hi,

I must have forgotten how to do this - so have to ask the experts. I have one video and one audio track. I want to cut the video at a certain point - and I need both the video and audio to be cut at the same time - is there a way?

Also when I delete the video after cutting, I want both the video and audio to be deleted as well.

Thank you.

Hi:
1) Select both Clips. Place the TL-Cursor and press C, both clips will be cut at that position. OR

2) Select both tracks (in the trackheader). Place the TL-Cursor and press C, both clips will be cut at that position. OR

3) You may select both clips and press G. Then the both clips will be grouped and works like a VA-Clip. Place the TL-Cursor and press C, both clips will be cut at that position.

4) As an alternative you may trim also with N, M, ALT+N or ALT+M.

Hope that helps - kurt

SHift +C will also cut all tracks at the cursor without selecting any tracks. I have one button set up on my Shuttle Pro2 for a simple one button press to cut at the cursor.

You can also select the track headers of the tracks which need to be cut.
