Default Create a shortcut to change clip color in TimeLine

I'm a long time Edius editor, 10+ years started w Canopus, recently updated to 9.50 and still liking the speed I get things done.

I tend to classify some clips with colors, that way in a "polluted" timeline, it's easy to find some types of media.

What I'm looking for is a way to quickly change the color property of a clip in the timeline. One shortcut and the clip is RED for example! Another shortcut and a clip turns BLUE.

I have a keyboard shortcut to properties but I still need to do some clicks, is there a way to perform that fast change of the color property of a clip?

Thanks in advance!

Julian

If you prepare the clips in the BIN you can change the color for a group of clips.

Thanks, but it's a on the fly decision!

Would love if the developers would think about letting an option to create a shortcut for that! ;-)

You can use Macro Generator Pro to do this with just a mouse click or a button press if you use an ipad or android tablet as a button pad.
