Default Edius 9.51.5532: Problem to open project from the previous version of EDIUS

I have noticed problems with my recent project, which get an alert after update, that my project is corrupted an it will be saved as much as possible. I must recover it from backup folder. I have noticed that time needed to save project is now dramatically shorten opposite the older version Edius. Now Edius save project in few second instead of half an minute in case my recent project. Is it all right?

Can you make a screenshot of such a warning, I never heard of one like that

attach it in your reply by going advanced, manage attachments

png is best and the Windows snipping tool is part of Win7 to Win 10

Hello Anton,

the picture is now attached in the first message. The problem is appearing only when I open file first time with start Edius or run file directly from windows explorer. I noticed, there is a way to open project without any error message. You must open another project before and from this another project, which is now loaded and running in EDIUS you can open problematic file without this error message. I have tried resave project, the size is now smaller, but the problem is the same. Edius must be started before. It seems to be a bug. I have a Windows 10 PRO. Now I am going to system restore. :-( hope that everything will go well cause have bigger project in process.

that is crazy, I never seen this one and I have seen it all

avoid system restore, it is one of these Microsoft inventions that fail often

instead do a clean uninstall of all EDIUS items, then install again

1. uninstall EDIUS (do not deactivate)
2. uninstall Mync (do not deactivate)
3. uninstall GV License manager
4. delete everything in program files/grass valley/edius9 except the plugin folder
5. delete everything inside program data/grass valley
6. delete everything in users/username/appdata/roaming/grass valley
7. empty users/username/appdata/local/temp
8. reboot PC
9. install 9.51
10. bob is your uncle

Hello Anton,

I am back in 9.50 with no problem at all. I can definitely confirm that the problem is in new 9.51 update. This problems appears in case of bigger edius project /in my case 5 Mb or bigger/. You can download the problematic file from this link and try to open: https://mab.to/gBdoahL6h

I have installed these plugins Mercali V4, Acon Digital Restoration, Izotope RX6, Izotope Ozone, Neat video 4, I tried uninstall them except Acon Digital Restoration without succes.

Please let me know,

thank,

Miro
