Hi guys,
I've researched this - but no obvious answers, so I'm turning to you, just in case! I finished assembling a 150 scene travelogue - cuts and dissolves between the scenes as appropriate. Music has been added, but not mixed yet. Looking at the audio mixer, the L & R tracks are both on the V/A track. The left track on the original footage for ALL scenes is about 6 db hotter than the right. I can balance each scene as normal, but trying to do all 150 scenes one by one is a real time consumer. I tried to separate all 150 scene's audio into 2 tracks all at once, but EDIUS doesn't seem want to do that. Is there a way to re-balance all the original track audio in all scenes in one pass? Many thanks for your help on this. Best - and Happy Thanksgiving to all. Alan

Hi Alan
yes, apply the panpot balance filter to the first clip and adjust until perfect then while first clip is focused and track header is focused, place playhead at the end of first clip and press Ctrl+End to select all following clips then drag the filter from the info panel of the first clip to any of the selected and it will be applied to all or, after fixing the first clip, save the filter as a user preset from the info panel and then drag it to any or all selected clips

Or, if you use V and A tracks, Map the audio tracks so that it is mono for A1 and A2. Them in the Audio Mixer, select TRACK for the A track you want to adjust and then make your adjustment with the slider. Every clip on that track will be affected.

Gentlemen,
Both suggestions noted and appreciated. Works like a charm. I didn't know you could apply the balance knob to the entire track. Many thanks - and Happy Thanksgiving! To you too down under, Anton. Alan
