Default Need Storm 3G Device Preset

Does anyone have a Storm 3G device preset (or can you make me one?) using SDI input with RS422 control for a Sony DVCAM DSR-1800 and Sony J-30 deck?

A station has sent me an email and I cannot make one with the correct settings without the card. If you can, please attach it and send it via my email. PM me if you need my email. If not I can get one when I get home but that is not until late tomorrow night, so it would be 2 days before I can get them something.

Either way, Thanks.

it is sad to see that EDIUS has become too complex for a station to make their own preset

I could make one but I currently don't have the Storm 3G in my PC, it is sitting on the shelf, had to make room for the SP and adaptec Raid card

There is nothing complex- all what you need is basic knowledge and brain :)
Sad is that many big places employ one person (for 20) with this knowledge, but this became a standard in current economy.

What is this preset for?
There is way not enough information to create one.

well I am glad to report that I have enough brain to do it

however, it is a long list of things that need to be done, when there was nothing that needed doing at all in previous versions

so, it appears users must have requested a more complex way of doing things to sort out the men from the boys :)

as an example, here is a mile long list of things to do when creating a SP preset
http://www.videoproductions.com.au/html/rs-422.html

in previous versions, this was one mouse click, do you agree?

when I sell EDIUS6 to one of my customers, I make it clear that I will not provide free help, otherwise I go broke on the phone

I know that you have knowledge.

This is for analog, not Storm 3G.

I think user manual and simple logic is way enough to do it- all what you need is basic video standards knowledge and BRAIN :)

it is certainly a great way to generate support income, there was little to be made from EDIUS5 but lots from EDIUS6 :)
