today I got a 1 tb ssd where I'll put all the native avchd / mts files to edit them with edius 8, thanks for your advice.
instead the projects and cache of edius 8 I put them in another ssd of 256 gb arrived today also that.

no on the ssd where windows is installed there are only applications and nothing else.

ps_A curiosity, I hope it is not OT, when I open edius8 the window appears in the attachment, and on the red arrow I find the name of my profile, but without a photo, how can I put a photo of myself?

Not difficult to change the Profile Icon. First create your photo in .psd format.

Place that psd file in Program Files\Grass Valley\Edius 8\Icon\Profile

Then within Edius, go to Settings / System Settings / Profile. Double Click on the profile icon you want to change. In the window that opens, click on Change Icon and then select your photo.
