..and playout of H265/H264 material, I can get the H265 export covered by Edius>XAVC>TMPEG Mastertingworks7

There is one thing I have never understood, in that any file that Edius finds difficulty in playing back always plays fine on the desktop, so the PC itself is perfectly capable, but there again often the players have GPU hardware acceleration they can use, which Edius generally doesn't use.

For the Xeon PC that would of course be our best solution.

It is a lot of expense just to get QuickSync working, and as you can see it's not the easiest of hardware setups to get working.
