This is not listed as a limitation, but I guess all render to timeline is greyed out to stop you "exporting" without a water mark....correct??

You can release the monitor from Edius by turning it off in hardware monitoring in the system settings, it's a pain but at least you don't have to shut Edius down when sharing with Adobe apps.

I don't think you'll have much fun as Edius creates incorrect 5.1 mapping. It is cumbersome and poor - work with something like Audition for correct results or invest in a professional DAW.

Amazing there's no add to timeline at matching time code function. An NLE should have time code based syncing of sound and vision and timelines as standard. I guess it's the fault of the DV...
