I have no issue updating it to the latest version... fact still remains.. there is an issue with the camera producing...

Handbrake was designed to encode mp4, MKV etc.

Edius can encode to mp4 but not as good as Handbrake.

I rather do the extra step to use handbrake then have issues.... its not a race to have it...

I have edius 7.53... so I have found handbrake does a better job encoding mp4 (h.264) regardless if it is going to be a small file or...

set the x264 preset to medium/slow or slower.

yes...it will take a little long but the quality is clean.

speed is not everything...

also don't use hardware acceleration..... most of the time it will cause issues.

unless you re-format the memory stick to NTFS or exFAT, the max file size is 4gb per clip or file. some led tvcs etc might have issues playing NTFS or exFAT (might)

yes, Its one step more but you can delete the clip after u have encoded.

One thing I don't do is to have my computer on the net ever unless I have to activate software or update some...

underexposed clips is way better than overexposed.
best to use the YUV Curve adjust shadows, mids etc...

the screen filter... never used it for that function. and I am pretty sure its not used...
