That's a bit heavy DD. Even most Edius users are way past XP now and W7 is more like Vista anyway.
Just so you know, videogirl, W7 and Edius V5 have far fewer problems than earlier combinations.

Ideally, there should be no web connection with an edit machine.

The bottom line is you can chromakey on just about any colour. Green and Blue are chosen primarily because there is less chance of those two colours appearing in the human body.
