Clearly something is not the same .. but yes, the OS, Edius version, drivers etc are or have been (during the various attempts to trouble shoot the issue) exactly the same ... same hardware too...

Although not exclusively, the vast majority of the media files I'm working with are from C300 cameras i.e. it's Canon XF 50 M/bit MPEG HD422... basically the same as Sony's XDCAM HD422...

Does Edius 8 have the (intermittent) "cross hatch of death" bug?

That said, I've developed coping strategies ... am extra watchful and try to catch when it happens, and then a simple "Undo" fixes...

If I'm roundtripping then I'd tend to ignore the audio coming out of Resolve and relink to my original audio...
