Jerry 05-15-2016 12:42 AM

What version of Edius is installed on your system? Did you upgrade to Vistitle 2.x from 1.x or did you just download 2.606 and install it?

admasv 05-15-2016 12:53 AM

edius 7 and 8 i just download only 2.6.06 and install.

Jerry 05-15-2016 12:58 AM

You have both 7 and 8 on the system? Pick one and go with that. Version 2.x is a paid upgrade for Vistitle.

admasv 05-15-2016 01:17 AM

so on one system i have to have one edius 7 0r 8 vistitle to show up library

Jerry 05-15-2016 01:26 AM

Did you purchase the upgrade to Vistitle 2.x?

http://www.videoguys.com/software-for-edius-6049.html

admasv 05-15-2016 01:33 AM

yes i upgrade

Jerry 05-15-2016 01:41 AM

Ok, it is not recommended to run two versions of Edius on the same system. I know it's possible, but you run into problems when updating and such.
I would uninstall both Edius 7 and 8. Also uninstall Vistitle.
Deactivate the license during uninstall for the version of Edius that you won't be using and reboot.
Install the Edius version you will be using. Install Vistitle.
Make sure the dongle is installed.

Fitting a caddy enables you to clone the drive and continue to use one version on one drive and another on the other.
Like others here I prefer to use 7.5* but switch caddies when I need to use 8.2 or want to play with the new features.
Since vers 2 came out - two versions on the same drive has always led to issues.

admasv 05-15-2016 01:41 PM

thanks the reply jerry and dave i will try one of you

admasv 05-15-2016 03:05 PM

Zorro 05-15-2016 05:19 PM

Start Vistitle as Administrator.

Jerry 05-15-2016 06:20 PM

Is Vistitle in the Grass Valley Edius 8 plugin folder?

admasv 05-15-2016 09:33 PM

yes.look like is vtediusimporter7

Jerry 05-16-2016 12:28 AM

Open Vistitle and make a screen shot of the desktop.
Post it here.

Jerry 05-16-2016 05:39 AM

I can't see any detail in those shots.
Open Vistitle>press PrtScn>open Paint>press Ctrl V.
Crop the image and save it as a .png.

antonsvideo 05-16-2016 06:11 AM

or use the snipping tool that comes with Win7

Do you have an anti-virus running during the Vistitle install, including Windows defender? If so, was it running during the Edius installation?

GrassValley_PS 05-16-2016 02:09 PM

Did you do as Zorro suggested and make sure you opened as an admin?

Jerry 05-16-2016 06:34 PM

Look here to see if you have the library folder:

C:>ProgramData>Vexel>Vistitle>Library

Is there anything in the Library under Vexel?

Jerry 05-16-2016 08:12 PM

If you have a full library under Vexel, you should be good to go. Since you never answered about running an anti-virus or Windows Defender, I'm at a cross roads as to whether I can help you.

I contacted Videostar for you, and hopefully Jack(VX Chen) will be able to check this out soon.

GrassValley_PS 05-16-2016 08:43 PM

You also never answered my question.

admasv 05-16-2016 09:05 PM

no anti-virus program or window defender is off plus i an runing vistitle as administrator looks like in vexel folder i have full library

Jerry 05-16-2016 09:46 PM

Look at your Vistitle dongle. Is the light on?

admasv 05-16-2016 10:41 PM

yes dongle key is light on

Jerry 05-16-2016 11:01 PM

Did you change the default install location?

admasv 05-16-2016 11:05 PM

no i did not

Jerry 05-16-2016 11:15 PM

Is the library in the stand alone version?

admasv 05-16-2016 11:24 PM

Vexel should be in Program Data and not with the Vistitle folder.

Here is my first position C drive:
Attachment 15449
Notice Vexel is not there, but Vistitle is.

Here is the Program Data folder:
Attachment 15450
Notice Vistitile is not there, but Vexel is.

Now, I want you to completely uninstall Vistitle. Then reboot.
Open the c: drive up and see if you still have 2 folders. If you do, delete them. Then go to Program Data and look for the Vexel folder. If you see it, delete it. If you see a Vistitle folder, delete it as well.
Then reboot again.

Now download this driver for the dongle:
ftp://ftp.cis-app.com/pub/hasp/Senti....9_Windows.zip

Install this driver.
Then install Vistitle 2.606.

antonsvideo 05-17-2016 01:54 AM

the default install location of Vistitle is C:\VisTitle

in the root of C and not in program files, can you confirm you installed in default path of C:\VisTitle

admasv 05-17-2016 02:11 AM

yes i instaii it C:\VisTitle i did not change the default

can you copy the whole line in PATH value and paste in your reply

antonsvideo 05-17-2016 03:59 AM

also, I see a presence of EDIUS6 and Imaginate and TmPro on your PC

I wonder if the EDIUS6 presence could confuse the Vistitler installer for 7.5?

I never tried a 64bit EDIUS and 32bit EDIUS on the same C drive

Nora 05-17-2016 07:55 AM

Possible solution for the problem
