Edius 8.5 issues

Hello everyone!!

I just updated from 8.3 to 8.5 and I noticed 2 weird things.

First: I can not do more that 2 undo

Second: If I low the volume in one clip, then in the next clip if I cut and delete or press the "N" button , it makes the cut but it also automatically lowers the volume to reach the previous clip level. Why is this happenning?

thank you in advance

Is it possible to make a screen recording of the audio issue? I cannot reproduce the audio issue on the systems here.
Als undo doesnot seem to be an issue.

can both points NOT confirm, on Edius 8.5.1988 (installed without virenscanners)

point 1, undo issue, ... looks the attachement

point 2, audio issue behind trimm per [N]
a)tested with reduce audio per rubberband
b) tested with reduce audio per filter "Panaorama&Balance - 12dB"

all tested on Windows_7 prof

I closed and run again Edius and undo now works fine.
Audio is still a problem and now audio level moves even if I put the curson on the clip.
Here it is

At least does everyone can see clear what is going on? even if you can not reproduce it?

I watched you screen capture but my system does not behave that way.

Sorry I have not able to reproduce this.
Do you use the latest version of 8.5?

George Glou 05-04-2017 08:19 PM

Yes. Today I downloaded it and install it.

I think I sort of see what may be going on, Edius may be working around another setting.
Any unusual mouse settings?
