Skewed Planes & Text in CComp

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I was wondering how to create both skewed text and a skewed plane in CComp, such as the example (attached). The desired effect is to have the text and plane reveal from left to right. I am currently using a rotated plane as an mask to reveal the object and making the skewed plane in Photoshop. However I wondered if there was a simpler method entirely in CComp.

Thanks very much
Derek

Skewing is currently not part of an object's transformation functionality. However, you can achieve skewing with the following trick: group the object to skew, rotate the object inside the group and then scale the group.

Cheers Roy, I'll go with that, just wanted to check I wasn't missing anything.

Thanks
Derek
