What version of Edius is installed on your system? Did you upgrade to Vistitle 2.x from 1.x or did you just download 2.606 and install it?

admasv 05-15-2016 12:53 AM

edius 7 and 8 i just download only 2.6.06 and install.

Jerry 05-15-2016 12:58 AM

You have both 7 and 8 on the system? Pick one and go with that. Version 2.x is a paid upgrade for Vistitle.

yes i upgrade

Ok, it is not recommended to run two versions of Edius on the same system. I know it's possible, but you run into problems when updating and such.
I would uninstall both Edius 7 and 8. Also uninstall Vistitle.
Deactivate the license during uninstall for the version of Edius that you won't be using and reboot.
Install the Edius version you will be using. Install Vistitle.
Make sure the dongle is installed.

Fitting a caddy enables you to clone the drive and continue to use one version on one drive and another on the other.
Like others here I prefer to use 7.5* but switch caddies when I need to use 8.2 or want to play with the new features.
Since vers 2 came out - two versions on the same drive has always led to issues.
