  • Failure to download MYNC

    I had an issue with trying to get a standalone copy of MYNC Basic for my non-Edius computer.

    I entered the wrong (no longer active) email address but the system allows you only one chance to download the file.

    I contacted Support which turned out to be in the US. They referred me to Holdan UK who, in turn, referred me to Andrew Deaker from grassvalley.com
    I sent emails to that address on 6 March and 19 March; however, I have received no reply to date.

    Whom should I contact in UK support to resolve this issue?
    DVC custom desktop; Intel i7-5930K @3.50GHz; 32GB RAM; NVIDIA GTX1080Ti; BM Intensity Pro 4K; Edius 9 WG; DaVinci Resolve Studio; Windows 10 Pro.

    Is this for a commercial version,trial version or free version?

        What happens if you use a correct email address and download it again?

          It goes via my Edius ID and when I click "Download" I get this message:

          "You can receive a serial number only once for each product."

          The serial number is in plain view in my Edius account but the download link was sent to my non-active email address where I cannot retrieve it from.

          My Edius ID now has my current address as I updated it AFTER I had realised my mistake with MYNC

          My account shows that the MYNC Basic has not been activated (as I have never downloaded it).

                        yes, eventually! but they dont seem to have understood the problem.

                        they tell me where to get the serial, which i already know, but they dont seem to understand that the download link was sent to a non-existent email address and the system does not allow a second download.

                        so i have a serial but no file.

                        it would be easy to test my honesty my mailing to that address and waiting for the bounced reply.

                        but sometimes life is just too short, especially when one is well into one's 70th year!

                        all lower-case? blame the ipad!

                          I don't know whether the various versions are very different from each other, but have you tried activating the trial version with your serial number?
