  • GV browser Standalone

    Hello,

I would like to know if the GV browser will be available separately.
For Edius 7 users for exemple.

    Thank you

GV browser comes with EDIUS 8. I don't think it will come as a separate app.
I will check but I think that my info is accurate

For Workgroup 8 this would be very cool!

Yes, we know this. Thank you. I am only saying, as mentioned previously, that GV Browser would be good as a separate app too.

I do long-form documentaries with as much as 24hrs of material per project. If GV Browser was a separate app I could have someone logging and shotlisting material on one computer as it arrives from the crew, while I am editing on another computer. I know I could do this with 2 copies of Workgroup, but it would be cheaper if GV Browser was a separate app. It would also enable the crew to log and shotlist material in the field prior to delivering to the Edit Suite. ;)
