yes, I was able to get realtime SD Xplode with special older graphics driver, but I never managed to get realtime HD Xplode
also, many Xplode are not even suitable for 16:9, they were made for 4:3
example: try the meat clever transition in 16:9
Agreed. in HD mode Xplode not realtime. in SD it is realtime.
I want 3d Effect posibilities within Edius. How it is possible without the
Xplode.
I do not understand why GV retired the Xplode and do not Update any more.
I do not understand why GV retired the Xplode and do not Update any more.
it was caused by Microsoft making a new OS called Vista
Edius needed to be Vista compliant, so Edius5 was created, however, Xplode would need to be redesigned from scratch to work with Vista, the same goes for ProCoder Express
now that Windows7 is coming out, expect a new round of problems

Yes I still using WindowsXP,..I do not like the Vista.
It seems to me as Game Interface..to me.
I requested my Distributor and GV for the restoration of Xplode in Edius.
User like to be thease facilities hardly. Xplode help me make customize
effects for Edius and I am some confidence that GV Edius got results
from it in my region and rest of India.
But I am not sure GV looking any user requested features or
regional requirements. Without 3d Effects (like Xplode) video output
result are similar to any low budget NLE software.
I like to be in Edius because it is Realtime, Good output, Easy to Use
and offcourse it fullfill the 3D Effects with Xplode.
I knew in xplode GV has completely stoped any implements,...But they has to
think of it.
From My distributor they promised me that GV will gives a better solution then Xplode in Edius5..but it is not fullfilled with the GPUs.
I think you better move on. This subject had been brought up many times.
I don't think posting more about it "xplode pro" will bring it back. It is dead and will stay dead AFAIK.
No need to keep lingering in the past. There is a solution for this problem. Keep using 4.xxx where xplode works.
But from 5 going in to the future it is better to look at other ways to achieve your goals.

As mentioned repeatedly, Xplode is completely discontinued. The developers haven't been with the company for several years, the technology was dated, it couldn't sustain acceptable/reliable real-time performance in the eyes of today's market.
GPUfx is a brand new, written from the ground up DVE engine - it is the future.
