Xplode with Edius v5

Xplode is not supported in EDIUS v5. In theory, virtually all Xplode effects now have a GPUfx equivalent.

I can't found the GPUfx in Edius5. Can you help me to found it?

Hmmm. It supports Shader Model 4.1, so it's definitely within the specs for GPUfx. When was the last time you installed the ATI Catalyst drivers?

Might be time for a refresh..

dumbie2006, you have few options
- you may use fireware connector on your motherboard (not the one with Storm card) with Edius 5, Xplode will not work.
- you may return to 4.61 version- evreything will work, this is the most stable and "bug-free" version after 4.0, enjoy it, Edius 5 will be same "Bug-free" not very soon... Still waiting for 3D in layout tool and alpha support, maybe at NAB?
-there are some registry "tricks" in Internet, that make Xplode "think" that it works with Edius4.x, of course not suuported, I do not think they are worth trying... especially if you are on Vista.

Can you please tell me where I can Find these tricks ?

Thanks I found it. But it is not similar to Xplode, I want X3d mapping in Edius5 how it is possible ?

md.ashik, were you able to get Xplode 4.6 to work in Edius 5? I know of a few posts were you can do it if you have Edius 4 but I went from Edius 3 to Edius 5? Thanks

Canopus should let Xplode work with Edius 5 if you are working with XP oh ya who would even want to go with Vista!

in Xplode you can import X3d files in it, but in GPU you can't.
Is there any way to import 3d files ?

Then how would you say GPU is better then Xplode?
Xplode also realtime..but with GPU we found more possibilities
in Edius. For Titles we can make good attractive effects with the GPU effects.
